Description
The iQLF4A20M8C is a low-frequency, 8-channel ADC HAT designed for interfacing 4–20mA industrial sensors with the Raspberry Pi. Built around two ADS1115 16-bit ADCs and integrated precision 250Ω sense resistors, it converts industry-standard current loops into accurate voltage readings (1–5V), fully accessible over I²C.
Each ADS1115 is factory-mapped to a dedicated I²C address, enabling simple and scalable multi-channel data acquisition. The HAT is optimized for low-frequency applications such as industrial monitoring, SCADA integration, and environmental sensing, where reliability and precision are critical.
Key Features:
- 8 Analog Input Channels for 4–20mA current loop sensors
- Converts 4–20mA to 1–5V via onboard 250Ω precision resistors
- Powered by 2 × ADS1115 (16-bit, low-noise ADCs)
- IC1 @ 0x49: AIN0–3 → Channels 1–4
- IC2 @ 0x48: AIN0–3 → Channels 5–8
- I²C Communication – Plug-and-play with Raspberry Pi
